light

the light in the early morning has made it hard to get out of bed. the crispness is in the air.
crisp

holding on to these days of fall before the rain sets in. we took a short road trip to sauvie island to find the perfect pumpkins.
the coast

Apologies for all the miniature shots, I just couldn’t help myself. A quick day trip to the coast, to Astoria and down to Cannon Beach with friends.
camping :(
fall is here. looking back at the drive back from the coast, it is pretty amazing.

photos from the unsucessful camping trip, or the drive back. when we arrived to the camp site, the firepit was in a pool of water. we knew it was over.
we came home and had a fire in our bbq, i was still able to smell like campfire.
estate
Estate sales give me the creeps. Most of the ones I have been to have been run by skeez balls with dollar signs in their eyes. I feel horrible pillaging through the belongings of someone who has recently gone.
Last weekend I happened upon the treasures of a well traveled woman and an estate sale put on by a few of her friends. What a different atmosphere. I feel lucky to walk away with these treasures that she had collected.

clogs, nordstrom lace ups + bass boots.
enamel pot, chemex coffee maker + peugeot pepper mills
vintage woolrich, vintage pendletons, stripe sweater from greece, triangle sock
jens quistgaard danish dansk candle holders
amazing cuts of fabric
the MOST insane price stamp i have ever seen. iphone for crazy scale.
sweetest senior picture book, both filled and signed with notes to gail.
as well as a crochet hook and a metal tin.
I also have a paper mobile and 2 woven pillow cases that i need to make inserts for before photos are taken.
i had to stop myself.
